Maddie could and has been used as a short name for Madeline.
I like either Madison or Bailey
Hailey is just not on my "Like " list for girls names.

I love Hayley, I love Madison, nickname Maddie
I do not like Maddie as a girls first names, it's cute when she's five, but when she's 30 and a lawyer, Maddie as a first name may not be cut
Madison, nickname Maddie, she will have a cute name, and grown up name
Hayley, nickname Hallo
I do not like Bailey at all for a little girl
Congratulations

It seems we have the same taste when it comes to girl names! My daughter's name is Madison but we nicked named her Maddie, I love the name, it's sweet. I wanted to name my soon to be daughter Hayden or Bailey ( I was going to use the spelling: Baylee) but my husband didn't like either so we're going with the name Rielly.
