I really want to do it, but I dont want to just send my pictures to a company, I signed up for Barbizon but dont think its going to do anything, and hasnt ever, yet.

An agent will help you find modeling jobs, but most of them live in Los Angeles. You could try to find one nearby, but I'm not sure you'll have much luck. You're probably best off moving to L.A. if you don't already live there. Once you've got an agent, you should probably take some really good pictures to add to your portfolio. A resume would be good, too. Be sure to book some go-sees (where you meet with modeling agencies). If you have a really strong portfolio, you have a good chance of getting picked. I hope I helped!!
