any ideas on what this could be caused from?

I experience this from time to time, and for me, it's caused by fibromyalgia. But it could be other things, too. So go to the doctor for a genuine diagnosis.

That would probably be nerve irritation, you may have inflammation of a nerve & should get checked out by a doctor.
Or you could buy one of those can huggers for insulation... if you have issues beyond just cold things, see a doctor.

it will be what's noted as tennis elbow. you may have it even if in case you do not play tennis. If it keeps, see your wellbeing care professional. they could do xrays or an MRI or cat test and discover out.
