K&N/Flowmaster as the other poster mentioned and also stop beside the interstate and take the battery cable off for about 5-10 minutes, plug it back in and take off like you're being chased by the mafia. 80s cars computers will reprogram themselves according to the way the engine runs for the 1st 5 -10 minutes after being reset. This won't do much, except reprogram the air/fuel mixture ... maybe 1 - 2 hp.

If you want instant power on the go try supercharging or if you want max power output go with turbo. If you want cheap try swapping the engine with a late model LT1 or a LS1, LS6 or LS2 engine. If you still want your current engine, rebuild the engine by getting better cams, heads, injectors, carburaters, headers and exhaust system and a better crank.

Ooh, those are pigs, I'd put a 383 stroker in there, lose the carb and opt for at least a holley tbi system.

take the fuel injection off,put on holly high rise with duel line 850 holly carb,i did that to a 84 model.it was ausum.to fast,
