A simple question: Is it okay to put on deoderant even though your armpits are already wet with sweat? Like will it do anything to my armpit or the deoderant itself?

If you put on deoderant while still sweaty, it's not going to help you much. The sweat will just wash it away after a min or 3. It shouldn't do anything bad (if it does, something is wrong, wash up quickly), but it won't help either.

Best suggestion is to wash the 'pits, dry 'em then put on the nice smelling stuff. You might want to wash your chest & neck too (closest to the nose places where sweat can collect).

Deodorant will help even after you start sweating but it's much more effective if you put it on before. If I forget or don't have time to shower before putting it on, I use hand sanitizer to kill the bacteria and dry off before putting on the deodorant. I know I'm not supposed to admit to ever forgetting but sometimes the phone rings at the darnedest times and I have poor short term memory.

Deodorants help to keep the bacteria from growing on your skin. If you are already sweaty under your arms that means that you have a build up of bacteria. If you put deodorant on top of the bacteria it won't do you any good or keep you smelling nice. Use an anti-perspirant/deodorant and that will keep you drier and smelling good.

Deodorant works best when you fresh and clean before you put it on.

Wash first,
then deodorize
All you are doing is covering it up
