Wonderful question.
I wanted to be a great writer sixty years ago. When I began knowing how to think, all I knew was I had a good mind and I wanted to write. So, every day since then I have worked at that goal, giving up practically everything for it, thinking of almost nothing else.

And as a result I have next-to-nothing--not because I haven't reached my goal, I say--but because I live in a sad empire run by statist postmodernists; petty bureaucrats and corporate tsars who have no science, no definitions and no ethics. And who dictate over the entry to every field.

So the answer to your question is, "No."
I don't "live as if there's no tomorrow."
I live as if there's no today.
As if there will be a tomorrow, even if it takes 500 years coming.
