I wouldn't worry about the squirrels if I were you. Worry about the luwaks. It eats coffee beans, and people actually make coffee out of it's ... um... poo.

"we have both the BEST COFFEE in the WORLD (ask starbucks"
Since when did Starbucks know anything about coffee? The answer to the question is a qualified "yes". There are squirrels in the Americas and in Africa and coffee is grown there. There are no squirrels in Papua New Guinea or Australia both of which grow coffee. I am not sure how far into the coffee growing areas of Asia squirrels are found.

According to several websites, Costa Rica (which grows coffee) is inhabited by squirrels. Coffee is grown in mountainous terrain, and the trees are relatively small, so it is possible that the squirrels and coffee trees are in separate habitats. It is also possible that there a lot of really nervous squirrels with insomnia.
