Ok I have been researching and researching. This is the way that it flows. Our common ancestor is my Great-Grandma. She is my Great-grandma, and Her Grandma. What does that make us? From what I've read it should be 2nd cousins once removed, is that right?
Thanks,
Leahawke

That would be your 1st cousin once removed. Her kids would be your second cousins.

You can look on this chart:

BTW, Teddy Roosevelt was my 4th cousin 4 times removed. Woohoo! lol

If her grandmother is your great-grandmother then she is a first cousin to one of your parents. You are her first cousin once removed. Her childen will be your second cousins and their children will be your second cousins once removed and your children's third cousins.

Added:
"Removed" means moving up or down a generation. Cousins of whatever level are of the same generation. The children of your first cousins are your first cousins once removed. Their children will be your first cousins twice removed. Your first cousins once removed are your children's second cousins and your first cousins twice removed are your grandchildren's third cousins.

You are her cousin's child, that makes you first cousins once removed. Her child would be your second cousin. Your child would be her first cousin twice removed. I'm not sure about second cousin once removed.

She's your Mother or Father's cousin and your second cousin. There's no "once removed" because removed means related by marriage, not blood.

I think you are third cousins? She and your grandmother are/were first cousins. I think second cousin to your mom, third to you?
