I miss... playing "hide and go seek" in the dark of nite, with my neighborhood homies...
I miss... racing wooden popsicle sticks down the gutter, after someones overflowing irrigation water runs down the street and into the drain 2 blocks away...
I miss... agitating the black angus bulls in the pasture to the point of them charging me and my buddies, only for us to barely escape by sliding under the barbed wire fence, as we laughed about it all the way home...
I miss... playing "army" in the tall grassy fields surrounding my childhood home...
I miss... getting up on Saturday mornings and fixing myself an eggs and bacon with toast and orange juice breakfast, while watching bugs bunny and roadrunner hour...
I miss... Setting up a Kool-aid stand on the nearest corner selling and charging a small Dixie cup full, for 25 cents on a hot summers day...
I miss... playing tether ball at the local schools playground with my friends...
I miss... being able to ride a "wheely" on my "stingray" bicycle (with banana seat) all the way down my street...

Watching the great Saturday cartoons every Saturday like Sonic the Hedgehog, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, coming home from school every day and sitting in front of the TV at 5:00 PM every night to watch SNICK on Nickelodeon. My mom taped all the old Saturday cartoons but someone taped over them. :-( I wish I could just be a kid forever that would be great. I also miss the Beanie Babies and the Pokemon cards. I had tons of Pokemon cards back in the 90s.

My grandmothers who made my favorites in food. They were good. There was no responsiblity as a child. I had chores but it wasn't big. I liked that we had vacations, now because I work, I have no vacations. I can't eat everything I want or I would be two ton Harry or the Pilsbury Dough Boy.

Im miss the feeling of being safe, now that im a teenager my eyes have opened to the world around me and i realize that i could die because of the simplest things. When i was little i was naive, everything was good,Death didnt exist,and there were no bad people.

of course i miss my folks, and also the great itlalian food my mom would cook. i also miss the fun at the movies i w ould have. i miss living by the ocean.
