Hi, I'm not interested in the most recent hand held gameboys, and am thinking of buying the older version (they were around roughly 5-10 years ago). I figure the price is right now.

The problem is, I have no clue if there are different versions out there, I don't want to spend 5 dollars on ebay for the wrong kind.

So if someone could just explain it, so I know what to look for.

get a gba sp. It plays gameboy color games and gba games.
The different versions you refer to are well, different colors or editions. Nothing exceptional about them.

Why don't you just go to Yahoo! Images and search for it? Dumbazz
