sophie is probly my fav character becase she is soo cool but then there is howl is is cool to and the calsifure "i probly did not spell that right" oh then michal but i probly like the fire demon the best he funny ^__________^

Sophie is my favorite character because she is the everyman that is thrust into the situations that normal people would cower at the sheer sight and panic over them. But she proves time and time again without any magical abilites that people can be beautiful without the looks and ultimately that its the soul that matters and decides in the matters of the heart.

Favorite movie, darn! split between Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind, Princess Mononoke, and Spirited Away...As for my favorite character, Haku from Spirited Away, Howl from Howl's Moving Castle, San from Princess Mononoke, and Nausicaa would tie...even though Sophie is cool too.

I'm not a big Miyuzaku, fan actually...
I suppose my vote is between The Last Unicorn (yes, he worked on this film) and Howl's Moving Castle, though compared to the novel the latter is a horrible book to film adaptation.

I agree -- Howl's Moving Castle is an amazing movie. I adore Howl. In the English version he has the most amazing voice.

Favorite character - Shishigami (the spirit of the forest) and the Kodama (the spirits that click their heads to the side).
