Examples: Bad pass, Offensive 3-second violation, Offensive Foul, Out of Bound, and in some case, shot clock violation.

Yes, he gets an "Apple Pie" TURNOVER for handling the ball poorly.
Keep that turnover mess to a minimum.
Turnover-
-Get jacked for the rock
-Throw the ball out of bounds or to a defender
-Traveling
-I guess you get a turnover if you charge offensively while in possession of the ball. Maybe even without possession.
Either way, just take care of the rock!

Yes. The player who lost the ball gets charged with the turn over. If the pass was stolen, the player who passed the ball gets the turn over.

Examle, Lebron passed to Jordan, it was intercepted lebron gets TO. last person to touch the ball that gives to another team is Charged with the TO, also if you go out of bounds charged with the TO.

Yes he does! That's why sometimes in the boxscores or on ESPN you'll see how many turnovers an indvidual player has. Everytime they lose the ball, commit an offensive fall, etc they count it!
