Is There Anything Interesting In It? Or is it dull as sap?

I've kept a journal since I was 12. My early writings are comical for more than the typical teenage blather. I'm dyslexic... the early ones are hilarious. Talk about inventive spelling and awful handwriting! I am more boring now than ever before. My journals from my 20s are a bit *too* interesting. Today? Well... you read my blog! LOL

(*narrows eyes* Or do you? *grin*)

I've been keeping journals a long time. Now I wish, had kept the ones from teenage years. Each is a blank book with an attractive cover. Back in the day, there wasn't enough money or time to keep up with 3 baby books, so little daily details like losing teeth, haircuts, the first day of school, is in them. At the time of writing, the events didn't seem too interesting. Now that the children are grown and want to know different details about themselves, whatever I don't recall is in the books. Now, it is much easier do on the computer and I keep little things about each grandchild because the parents are too busy working to slow down for a few minutes each day. Been married for 35 years.

Yes, and it is becoming very dull. It looks like a daily weather log.

But, I have an excuse. I write it at night, after having to think all day.

yeah I keep one...it's basically all my complaints and feelings and stuff...much easier and better to write it on paper. oh and I keep updates of my life so that when I'm old, it will help remember things from my teen years.
