yea they have built in microphones

Now this is probably just the smart-@$$ in me, but I can't help it when I see a "Bill Engvall - Here's Your Sign" situation....

The actual answer to the question is: No...sound cannot be recorded without a microphone. The fact that the macbooks have built-in microphones is irrelevant.

Sorry....just my "2 cents". Feel free to hate on me.
