I agree with you... but calm down!! Most teens (girls and guys) are pretty immature. And you don't have to change just to fit in with a group! Just quietly laugh to yourself whenever someone says something stupid. I also agree that some girls like the immature guys... the ones that screw around in class a lot. However, people grow out of it. I don't know how old you are but in my 9th grade year, everyone was pretty screwy and immature. I am a senior now and everyone has just mellowed out. People don't care about how you dress... I know this is cliche but just be yourself!! It is not as hard as you think... like I said before, you don't have to change to fit in. And stop being so cynical! Teens (girls and guy) really mature once they reach the 12th grade (from my experience) Good luck.

Your "solution" is a bit far-fetched and it is highly unlikely that anyone will follow your advice. I agree people should have the right to wear what they please, but others' opinions should be respected. Not many people want to see the really slutty clothing, and there is no call to wear stuff like that.
"Welcome to the 21st century"? Please. Are we supposed to not be offended by cancer and poverty and the hold in the ozone layer? Are we supposed to leave those things alone just because it is the 21st century? I think not.

Personally I don't care what you dress like. In my opinion it's more sexy to cover a few things up and leave them to be desired but if you want to show it all then by all means. I will tell you this, you're attracting the wrong attention and all a man will think when they see you is "easy". They'll wine you, dine you, make you think they like you, use you and never call again. Or just plainly rape you for being a tease. One day, you too will grow up. I used to like being "sexy" before I learned that sexy was trashy. And I'm not that much older than you.

Not too complain because I have wore my share of short shorts. BUT>>> Does society realize the danger we are putting our daughters in by letting them dress the way they do. It is not only teenagers dressing this way but very young girls. I don't understand how parents can let their daughters go out at any age wearing a skirt or shorts so short that you can see their assets. Does society/parents not understand how this world is infested with pedophiles? Plus all girls should be taught that a man will not buy the cow when he can get the milk for free. There is an art to sex appeal and it doesn't require dressing like a street walker.

Personaly speaking of course, I think that if you've got it...flaunt it. If a girl has a nice body, let them show it off. Just because you think its "slutty" or that we have "no respect" that is your opinion and yeah you are intitled to it, but really, you dont have the right so say anything unless you know something for a fact. People dress how they feel comfortable, so live with it. I have a nice body, and yeah I do like to show it off, does it make me a slut? The answer is no.

You are free to wear whatever you please however other people are entitled to their opinions as well. Personally I think that some clothing does send out the wrong message.I think that only an insecure person would need to flaunt everything to get attention.I've had a life for quite some time and have had a lot of time to make informed opinions. You can look attractive without looking like a "slut" to use your term.

I think it's really dangerous for teens to go out and wear "slutty" clothes these days. There are so many sick people out in this world. We need to cover ourselves up. I find that most guys don't really like a girl who dresses "slutty". They want someone who will look cute and cover themselves up. With today's fashions, girls can look really cute and stylish without showing a lot of skin.

I think it's wrong to show too much, parents don't always know though. They leave in the morning wearing one thing and change at school, and some kids are home alone in the morning and the parents are at work. So what can you do, it's the schools responsibility to notify the parents,
if it's summer, the parents need to do something. If no one is holding the teens responsible we can't blame them.

I don't care what other people are doing or what I see other teens wearing. I refuse to look like a street-walker. I have the right to dress the way I want. Get a life and welcome to the 21st century.

Only if you really desire to be perceived by society as a trashy little bimbo with no brain. And frankly, there are way too many of them out there today. There is nothing "cool" or "individual" about them. You want to be perceived as intelligent, unique and worthy of respect? Find your own fashion that doesn't involve looking like a brainless twit.
