Putin has killed 14 journalists in Russia since 2000, when he came into power.
They are slipping back to their communist ways. Russia ain't no friend of mine!

who is trusting usa? And why should anybody trust usa? Usa is the backbone of almost all the evil activity going on in the entire world for atleast last 30years. Usa has never favoured any nation without their own interest. While we have the history of indo-Russian friendship. Look back at the history of 1971 indo-pak war, and when usa sent its huge 7th fleet to teach a lesson to our country india, it was Russia who had not only provided us political support but they stood againts the american 7th fleet and forced the americans to stop their advance towards india. So we have reason to trust russia and that is why we are good friends. Regarding the quality of weapons, so far indian arms were proved better then the arms used by pakistan and this weapons are mainly supplied by usa.

Russia is America's friend but trust is not there. US & USSR goes back along way remember Alaska being sold to US by Russia, the two never really fought as enemies in both WW1 & WW2. yet they hound each other in the cuban crisis but 1 is quick to wdraw. They will be friends alright cause USSR needs US supply (food & coal) only when USSR wants to take the supply then it'll be different but this is a rarity.

You're right. Russia, the sleeping bear, is beginning to stir from it's hibernation.

No I don't at all. Our global and economic interests are still very much in conflict with each other. I can't see us being allies anytime soon.

We could be friendly with other countries and other countries friendly with us, but their is a boundary and I don't think we or them would ever break this.
Friendly but never Friends
