Go for high lights a couple shades lighter than your natural hair color.

Prefer natural as well, or extensions that are similar to your existing hair colour e.g. platinum.

i like them in small amounts.
my friend has dark hair with one red exstention in it & then one blonde one.
i think it looks really good.
