No. It was at it's prime when the 13 colonies became states and were governed by their own people. It's a shame that the followers didn't treat their own land with the same love and pride that their ancestors did. Now look at where America is?

Kim, I loved you in Team America. I'm sorry that you're "so ronery." Anyway, I think the U.S. is in the later teen years. We have a really hot girlfriend (Canada) and when someone calls us out, we kick their a**. The U.S. is definitely the jock of the Northern Hemisphere and one of the few countries among the Americas that has a letter jacket. Best of luck with the nukes, Uncle Kim. I don't know what you'll do when you have them because no one in your country is tall enough to reach the button.

Far from prime! The economy blows, unemployment is at an all time high, gas prices are insane, we're fightin a war that doesn't seem to have an end in sight.

Its prime at what, specifically? We're kind of sucking in the war department, no one likes or respects the President, (and he doesn't deserve MY admiration or respect)the morale of this country is at an all time low, gas prices are skyrocketing...everyone hates us...you do the math..

How would you gauge that? I sincerely hope it hasnt reached it's prime, because we still have a lot to accomplish and improve. Just the fact that I can say that says a lot.

Kim,

Every time people predict America's demise they get proven shamefully wrong. America is a truly special nation that defies the ebbs and flows you usually see in international politics. The truth of the matter is that America could very well grow even more powerful and influential over the course of the next 50 years--and I, for one, would welcome it.

sometimes I think it's on the decline....
we are pumping out all these "no child left behind" kids who have no idea what it's like to work hard for anything and we expect them to one day run the place... i doubt it....

i heard a kid say the other day..."my dad is 60 and still working super hard every day... i'm not gonna screw up and be like that"
his dad is a super successful realestate salesman, and has always worked hard at whatever he did...

No. This country is in its final throws of death. I give us 25 or 40 more years. If another country doesn't get sick of us and invade, our economy will collapse.
