I loved MSN Messenger, it was easy and it didn't freeze up my computer, and I knew where everything was.
But I stupidly downloaded Windows Live Messenger just to see what it would be like and it completely uninstalled MSN.
I'd like MSN back, and messenger.msn.com is only offering Windows Live right now.
Is there any site where I can download the old MSN Messenger.. the last version they had before they switched it to Live.
7.0 I think?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

MSN Messenger was renamed to Windows Live Messenger, and you should use the latest version. But if it's too heavy, try Miranda IM or Trillian - they can use multiple protocols at once (MSN/Live, AIM, Yahoo!IM, ICQ, Jabber)

Just looked.Go to www.microsoft.com and find download center.Windows messenger 5.1 is still listed there.
