3.1-V6 has only one, some ware on the front of the engine, near the exhaust manifold and pipes, behind the radiator. It's that way on my 97 Olds Cuttlass Supreme.
some 3.1V6engines for those few years, are sort of a mongral engine. Some parts made for the 97 engines, will work. Some times, parts from 98, 99 and 2000 will have to be used. GM has a better Idea, And your local repair shop, is the only place that knows, whats, what.

There should be 4 one on each header and one after the converter, If single exhaust maybe 3 hope this helps, Look for O2 sensor in exhaust you can find them, hope this helps

They are two of them.One in the exhaust down tube and one at the catalitic converter.Hope this helps.
