Who will we bestow the title of "God" on to pick these independents. Would Al Gore be OK, perhaps Jeb Bush. No while the "concept" has merit, the application is utterly impossible.

What you have to understand is no matter the position taken someone will be happy and someone will be angry.

HeII I am so conservative that I have left the liberal likes of the Republican party and I only listen to Rush Limbaugh if I am interested in limp wrist approach to a problem.

You sure don't want this independent I bet...

What is a true independent? Anyone who claims to be? Independent of what? The two major political parties? There are plenty of people who run in every election that are not members of the two major political parties. There is the Socialist Party candidate, the Communist party candidate, the Green party candidate, the Libertarian party etc. There are many candidates on the ballot in every election.

I wouldn't vote for them.

There are very few true independents, so no. Lieberman dosent count, hes a disgruntled democrat who is only independent because he is too bat-**** crazy for the democratic party.
