Yes, I know there is better languages out there and it'll probably be hard to do. I just want to know if it is possible. If not, what would be a language that could.

Yes Basic can do an ITunes and even more. The latest VB .net is way close to C# so BASIC can be faster to code and have up and running. It's your choice, spend a day doing BASIC or spend a few weeks or months doing it in C++. They both do the same thing, so why waste time....

Visual Basic.NET can certainly produce the code needed for a service such as iTunes.

In theory, you can, but there are a lot of library / DLL you may need to purchase in order to do what you wanted.
