Yeah and I cut up the noodles on my plate afterwards too! I don't like eating an enormous forkful of rolled up long spaghetti (unless I'm wearing the appropriate coverage as not to get the sauce all over me!). I like being able to adjust the size of my mouthfuls of food :)

No breaking here! It is more fun to test to see if it is cooked if it is a long strand. Throw it at the ceiling. If it sticks then falls, PERFECT al dente pasta. (Haven't used that method since I was 18 and in university for the first time).

My mom does.
I don't, but this one time I went to a fair and bought spaghetti that was like a foot and a half. Needless to say I had to break it. Unfortunately it did not fit in my pan.

Not that I can recall. I am getting pretty old but I still like long spaghetti. So I am young at heart, what can I say?

Yes I do. Why make them long and a pain to stick in your mouth? It's just food. Since when is eating a fun activity?

I see your point, but my kids are not fun to clean after they eat unbroken spaghetti.

Never, it just wouldn't taste the same. Plus I wouldn't know how to tell if is done. To test mine I throw a piece at the kitchen ceiling, if it sticks it is done.
