I did only play internet games like Wow and LOTRO. It would lock up for a few seconds and then move and lock up, etc. I tried on Fable and it seems to be doing the same thing. I've taken it to computer store. They wiped the drive clean, put in a nethercard?, checked that it wasn't the router. But they didn't seem to think it was graphics card.

Try running dxdiag from the run menu and see if it produces any errors. On the first page look at the version of directx you're running, it should be 9.0 if it isn't then upgrade it. Also, most game sites are java sites so make sure you have the latest version of java installed:

Then make sure your video cards driver is up to date. Then go to this speed test site and check your bandwidth to be sure you're getting what you're paying for:

Could be a lack of system resources as well (RAM). Everything takes RAM. Not only security products but your operating system, active browser windows, running applications (such as Word, Gaming, Messenger, Photoshop, etc) all require system resources. Try closing the applications you don't need running.
