To calclulate the odds, one would need to know the volumetric bug density in the region where you are biking (more bugs near the river, for example, than in the desert), and also the average speed of your travel, together with the wind direction and how big your mouth is, and what fraction of the time you have it open.

Well it depends. I bike a lot and have never gotten a bug in my mouth. That probably is because I keep my mouth closed, but I haven't had a bug hit any part of my body. So if you keep your mouth open or closed I don't think it matters because a bug just doesn't go into your mouth when your biking.

if you keep your mouth open and very high. if you dont keep your mouth open very low.
