This happens often. In fact, I have had a lump in my right breast for about 8 years and it does not show up on a mammogram or u/s. If a lump does not grow, there is not much to worry about. If a lump gets smaller, there definately is nothing to worry about. A cancer does not ever get smaller. I would doubt your lump is a cyst or a fibroadenoma (u/s shows these well).
Many times, a lump cannot be seen on mammography, but can be seen on u/s. Examples would be a cyst or any type of mass which might not be seen in a breast with dense tissue.
If a lump you can feel is not seen with mammo or u/s, it could be many things. Most likely, it is normal breast tissue which feels "lumpy". Normal breast tissue will look like normal breast tissue on both mammo or u/s. It could also be encapsulated fat (breasts are mainly fat-even on skinny women!).
There is always an option of having a biopsy. The best way to do this would be a FNA. I would really hesitate to have an open biopsy, for many reasons (cost, recovery time, risk of anethesia, scarring which will interfer with future mammograms, not to mention asthetic issues).
If you went to a breast center, then you went to the best place you could go. They are the experts! But, if it were my breast, I would just keep an eye on it (or fingertip, in this case!). Check it often and watch for changes, especially in size. If you feel it is growing, go back to your doctor. If it stays stable, I would say you have nothing to worry about.

I don't understand how there can be a lump but it not show upon u/s. Can the Dr's feel the lump also? Even if it is a cyst it should show up in the mammogram. I would probably get a second opinion.

I suggest getting a 2nd opinion. Even if you have a blocked duct, it would show on the the mammogram. That doesn't sound right.
