Totally common. Pregnant women are often highly sensitive to smells and odors. This could last throughout pregnancy. It is thought to protect you from harmful substances.
The voracious appetite could last throughout pregnancy, or as it did with my 3rd pregnancy, be replaced by illness and inability to eat anything (this happened around 7 or 8 weeks - before that I could not stop scarfing down Chinese food!).
Congratulations and best of luck!
