My nipples have been sore since yesterday. The left one is a lot more sore than the right one. While it's possible that I could be pregnant, the test is negative at this point so what are other causes of this?? I was on birth control but I stopped it a few weeks ago...and my nipples have never been sore before in my life.

Have you been doing anything new: like get a new bra or use a new lotion or start exercising? Otherwise, get OTC pregnancy test to see if your pregnant.

Just before getting your period can make your nipples sore. What kind of test did you take for pregnancy? It might not have been reliable.

There is time for preg test to become positive. Wait for a while. Mal(man)handling during sex may be another reason.

your gonna start your period !!!
it takes a while for your period to start after birth control
