Wheather you like the spurs or not they have dominated this decade. They seem to only win in odd years and they are getting old. they are the oldest team in the league with 6 people over 30 and manu getting there next month. Now will they win the rings again? I dont see it. They got lucky through out these playoff. Dallas gets kicked out early the only team with any chance of beating them. Then there was that Suns problem with 2 important player out. Spurs played Jazz for the Western conference who are atleast 3 years and several pieces away from being taken seriously. Then the pistons, the only team in the east with any chance of beating the spurs decides to start phoning in their games and the Spurs play the Cavs, I mean they play Lebron. It was not 5on5, It was 5 on 1. I dont see them getting this lucky again. I dont see them beating the suns and the Mavs. I dont think they are fast enough any more.
They still are a great team and I have a lot of respect for them but next year.... No. That team has maybe one more championship in them but it wont be easy.

every time a season starts off, oftentimes, the protecting champs are the favorites to win it all the subsequent 3 hundred and sixty 5 days. The Spurs have a huge threat of repeating as i do no longer see any important shake up of their line up. Any team that has a point-headed chief who thinks of his teammates first fairly than himself, any team that likes to win for their teammates' sake and a coach that would make all people of their roster fall in line, that team has the suited threat of triumphing all of it next 3 hundred and sixty 5 days. If Duncan, Parker and Ginobili stay healthful, it quite is yet another heartbreak 3 hundred and sixty 5 days for something of the NBA! As for the Cavs triumphing it this time...this would take place in the event that they do no longer meet the Spurs interior the finals. yet heavily, the Cavs are no longer yet primed to win all of it.

The Spurs have all the pieces in place. They got the chemistry, the inside, the outside, the coaching, the intangibles. The core is back next year, while most teams are looking to shuffle things up. It isn't a shoo-in, but I'd give them about a 40% chance of winning it again.

Based on their history... no. There are a lot of upcoming superpowers in the NBA. Chicago is there, the constant Pistons are there, Miami would have to be better, Dallas would probably seek redemption so they are probably in, Utah, I think is going at it next season, and the Phoenix Suns. The Spurs organization, based on history again, dont change line-ups following their championship run, with the constant tweaking of the other teams I think the aforementioned teams are valid championship contenders that can unlodge the Spurs.

I don't know if they will win it next year but i wouldn't be surprised. They play so good together and they have each others back. Unlike the Cavs the Spurs have Class and that's why there thought of as "Boring". They don't play like Golden State they play great Defense and Mediocre Offense. I think they are fun to watch. I hope they repeat.

There is a big chance. Year after year, the Spurs are the team to beat.
2007 - Champ
2006 - Eliminated by Dallas in the dying seconds
2005 - Champ
2004 - ELiminated by Los Angeles by LUCK
2003 - Champ

You got it right.
Unless something drastic (one of the big three is injured or another teams makes a blockbuster trade and is significantly stronger) happens the Spurs are looking very good for a repeat next year.

I think it will be the Spurs. It's hard to imagine anybody putting together a team in one year that plays together as well as the Spurs, who've been together for 4.
