Here's some tips. While having a large hard drive is great it doesn't give you a faster system, nor does just a new video card. These are the things you need to have to have a faster gaming PC. Upgrade your motherboard to one with 2 or more PCI-Express slots. (if you don't already have 1) One slot is good but 2 is better for dual video cards. You need to get a sound card that has a high sample rate. This will help increase your fps. You need to upgrade your power supply to a larger one. With all of the added components you want to make sure you have plenty of power to go around. Lack of power will cause system problems and major slow down. upgrade your processor to at least the low end core 2. And finally wait about 2-3month and the Western Digital Raptor 10,000 rpm 16mb cache drive will be around 150.00. Remove all unnecessary programs as well as disabling running porocesses that aren't needed. Clean off your desktop. Take all of your shortcut icons and place them into a single folder on the desktop. Defrag and run scandisk. Remove any possible spyware/malware. Clean your temp file/cookies and add-on leftovers. You can basically build a new computer using parts from your old for way less than a 1000.00. and over a period of a few months that not bad a little at a time. That's what I did and my pc screams. Best game Rainbow Six Vegas. Good luck.

Least expensive way after memory upgrade would the video card. You can get a decent video card at about $160. A video card is the next easiest upgrade. It takes a bit more patience and experience to upgrade the CPU, install heat sink thermal paste and cooling fan.
