I would say absolutely. Whether the relationship will last depends on respect. If you love someone unconditionally you accept their right to believe as they choose. You may wish that your mate chose differently but at the end of the day it is their right.

I can see some wonderful discussions come out of that relationship, assuming that each partner loves and respects the other enough to 'agree to disagree' at the heart-level. (which is not as easy as it sounds)

Yes. Love has no boundaries. However, if that person is truly Christian, they will go by the reasonings of the bible which talks about non-believers. In the bible it states believers should not go with non-believers. I believe that yes love is beautiful regardless of things, but when a Christian and Atheist get married the Christian if they are dedicated will be the only one trying to keep their religion while the Atheist has no intention of following the Christian. Therefore drawing the conclusion that yes they can fall in love, but to get married is a big problem. Unless the Atheist all of the sudden wants to believe in God.

I would say that it all depends on how important your beliefs are about religion. If it's an integral part of your everyday life, I'd say it would be difficult to be involved with someone so opposite of yourself. Could you fall in love, absolutely, but would it be a problem at some point, probably. Perhaps the Christian could pray for the Atheist to find God. That's funny!

Of course they can!

The problems ensue when serious future planning takes place. Then it becomes a matter of either compromising to appreciate and tolerate each other's views or calling it quits. But love? Certainly....

Of course.....like any couple, they need to identify their mutual interests, likes and dislikes and respect those areas that would cause friction between them. Neither should be hurtful to the other for what they believe.

Of course. It depends though if your parents like you dating a different religion than yours. My parents, at least my dad says that you shouldn't date someone who isn't catholic and if so they better become catholic. I think it is perfectly okay to date another religion than your own.
