have an "observing ego", step out of it and assess myself.
talk about it, pray about it, and let it go before i sleep.
all anger is not bad. not working thru any emotion is hazardous to your mental health. every day is a new start.
go for a run, ride the bike up the hill, chase the dog in the park....

Do as little as possible. Go put some candles around the tub, and take a hot bath. Try and relax. If it happens to often. Go to anger management or get the heck away from whoever is causing you to get so angry. Stress will kill you. It took me until late in life to realize that. Believe me. I have had cancer, thank God I beat it, drank myself to death almost, shot somebody, and etc., and take my word, none of it was worth it. I've had a hard life, but God gave me the strength to beat the odds. Pray sweetie and let whatever or whoever go. If it or they can't bring any happiness into your life, get rid of it. If it's something you have no control over, always remember God does.

To either meditate or at least bring your awareness to your breath so that you can calm down. If that doesn't work, focus on your body and search for the spot where you can feel the anger and then concentrate on that spot. This will not only help you calm down, but show you how your anger can effect your body. Once you calm down, focus on building love and compassion towards whatever made you angry. Good advice, but much easier to say than do.

I would like to know that too. But I can tell you I am angry right now....and I am keeping my thoughts on something else like these questions... Although I may just drink a glass of wine!

I have done and still do lots of different things, but the best that I have found is to write. Get all your emotions out. Noone has to read it. Just get it out.
