For me it would be either 'Stand and Deliver' with James Edward Olmos or possibly 'Seabiscuit' with Tobey Maguire. In both movies you are rooting for the underestimated but determined characters who wind up triumphing over adversity.

My immediate thought was 'Seabiscuit' as well. Such a wonderful movie. The last race when his buddy George pulls up to give Seabiscuit something to chase, I'm getting chills just thinking about it.

Steel Magnolias it reminds me of my dad it was basically a movie about his life. but hers was alittle better.
