The progress ( or lack thereof ) does not matter, all that will be emphasized is the cost of leaving.
The Neocons smirk at this costly dilemma they have put the American and Iraqi people in. They have placed us in a moral, and social catch -22 and our grandchildren will have to pay in treasure for this absurdity.

Why could Bush declare the conflict is misplaced? The conflict has ended years back. the U. S. protection rigidity is now there to rebuild the country merely like it did after the Korean conflict and WWII. the U. S. won't pass away till the Democrats defund the conflict or Iraq asks the U. S. to pass away.

I don't know, but I will certainly not blame Gen Petraeus and I am a conservative. I can't help what other people do including liberals who appear to do a lot of blaming on answers.

What's the difference what he says, the decider will make the final decision, my guess, we stay the course because he will tell us the alternative is not acceptable. I guess he should have thought about that years ago.
