I love Avril Lavigne. She's not a fake like everyone says. She writes most of her songs, and she sounds almost the same live. if you think that Avril Lavigne is fake, then you most think all singers are fake considering on CDs, singers always mix their voice! And her old punk look was unique. But meeting Deryk Whibley caused her too be so much happier, why can't people see that's the reason she went to prep? She's happy now.

I think Avril has grown a lot over the years. She's evolved into a great artist. Especially her new album. She's defintely grown up and has songs that can relate to people of multiple of generations. And just because some of you friends don't like the same things you like doesnt mean there is a reason for you not to like them. Everyone is different. Find what you like and stick to it no matter what any one says.

Personally Avril ROCKS! I luv her music especially girlfriend!
You shouldn't care about what your friends think about her! Even if they think she's "uncool" or "outta style" DO YOU think tat? Cuz if u stop liking her u might miss out on a singer u really luv. U might lose a great oppurtunity with something U personally enjoy. Think about it....the choice is yours. this is just advice.

i like her music but i think shes changing her image too much. it seems like shes changing to fit whatever is "in" at the moment. shes not the good ol' avril we used to know and love

I actually got to like her ONLY after her latest album. Used to think that she's a poser.
And I do not get whats the big hoo-ha about "I don't like your girlfriend" song. Who actually likes the girlfriend/boyfriend of your crush? Hypocrites.

Im not crazy about her music but i love her. Shes so cool. Who cares what your friends think, if you like her you should stand up for that.

her musics good, but in Seventeen magazine a few months ago she kept on talking about how she had totallly changed into a girly-girl... and she was wearing all of this ugly black stuff... ewww.

Although she doesn't preform my genre of music, she has really neat ways of expressing herself. I really like her voice and what she does with it. Who cares if none of your friends like her. Atleast you enjoy a good voice, and don't be ashamed of that!

i like her new music and her new personality. before, she was creepy gothic depressing and i hated it. now, her music is more upbeat and fun. before i would have said eeeew no shes creepy, but now i'd say.....she's cool. Girlfriend is in my top 3 faves.
