I readily admit my mistakes, but I don't necessarily feel at ease to admit them. It depends on the degree of the error - something small I'll admit right away, no qualms. A large-scale mistake is much tougher since I have to put my ego aside

Always.

I am human. I acknowledge it. I am a perfectionist in almost everything I do, and yet I can make mistakes.

It is easiest to just admit to them as soon as possible, then take steps to correct whatever problems your error may have caused.

I have followed this policy for the whole of my working life, and did not ever find an employer that did not agree that it was the best way to handle mistakes.

It's not always easy to admit your mistakes, faults or wrongs in life, BUT it is necessary for you to be honest with yourself and to be honest enough with those involved to admit you were wrong. When it affects someone other than yourself, you need to be honest and admit it so the other person will know... it's the only fair and right thing to do and otherwise, it will come back on you the same way... karma to some extent.

To God, yes.

To my wife, yes.

To my children, yes.

To the public, only when necessary.
