I love old movies too, as a matter of fact I spent all day yesterday watching TCM (Turner Classic Movies), it's one of the best channels there is. I love Humphrey Bogart and Cary Grant too. But my absolute favorite classic movies are the comedies. My favorite move is "Some Like it Hot" starring Marylin Monroe, Jack Lemmon and Tony Curtis. Yesterday I saw a movie called "The Impossible Years" about a psychiatrist trying to raise his teenage daughters and it was quite good. And Lucille Ball did more than "I Love Lucy" she did a lot of movies as well, one of my favorites is "The Long, Long Trailer," it has Desi Arnaz and if you're a "I Love Lucy" fan you are sure to enjoy it. And how about the old movies that have now been remade? I mean they were remade for a reason, because they were so awesome the first time around. Spencer Tracy did the original "Father of the Bride" but my favorite original is "Ocean's 11," the ending was just hilarious....oh I could just go on forever about classic movies.

I love classic movies and male actors named "George" -- Raft, Sanders, Clooney, Tobias. My husband (also) does not understand my fascination with Lawrence Tierney or John Garfield. My favorite movies are the "Boston Blackie" and Falcon movies. My husband REALLY REALLY LIKES Charley Chan and the space SCI-FI's.

I can assure you that you are not alone. I am so sick of the present crop of movies with stupid plots that I go back in time when Hollywood turned out some great classics. They still hold up today.

No, I like them too. I just switched from cable to dish and I don't get AMC or TCM. I was so disappointed. Gonna have to work on that one.
