How are ants able to get to the pigs? Ant chemicals are not safe around them. Keep the pigs inside the house--they don't handle heat well. Or if its not hot where you live, put them up on a table and coat the table legs with vaseline so ants can't climb it. Keep the ground sprayed or treated for ants.

Sprinkle/pour some white pepper around their cage and it will stop the ants cold. Ants travel by smell and if they can't smell the ant trail, they'll find somewhere else to go. Also, you might want to find out where the ants are coming from and start there.
