Spend your time and energy on trying for someone else. If he doesn't like you, all the tricks in the world won't get him to like you, unless he could be "bought," but surely you wouldn't want him if that's all that's there? Playing hard-to-get (while looking for someone else) on the other hand, just might make you look more appealing to him! He might begin to take an interest!

my way was letting him know that i liked him and then...a year later after spending time together a few times he started liking me...not that i really recommend it.
