Alexis don't know if you know the old saying "if a man hit you once he hit you again" No man should ever hit a woman and there is no excuse for it. Get your stuff and leave!

A ,man, any man, who hits a women is, in my opinion, a coward. There is never a situation between husband and wife bf and gf or male and female which warrents physical abuse of a women . I can tell you this, if he gave you a black eye and you do not report him to the Police for abuse, or if you decide that you"love" him and can' t possibly live without him, then you have sealed your own fate. I guarantee, if he hit you once, he will do it again. Leave now.

I am sorry you have to go through this, but I have one question. Is this the first time? You know what you have to do. You need to leave you may not have any where to go, but there is places and people that will help you. This is very toxic relationship when a man hit his wife. Nobody deserves to be hit, maybe next time it will be worse. Remember a mans fist are to protect, hold and love his wife not hit her.

If they hit you once they will do it again. Get out while you can. Never except the marks of an angry man, Never. If you forgive him he will think it is ok, no matter how sorry he says he is. The only thing he is with sorry in it is a sorry a**!!! Value yourself more than that. It may not happen again tommorow, but it will, trust me I know!!

u get the hell out of there asap and call th police no man can abuse a woman there r 2 many ppl who live like that u need 2 be one less now ifu want u can stay and forgive him but if he does i again u get the hell out pack up and leave call the police and get some money from sueing him

I know there is more to the situation than he hit you and gave you a black eye. I don't have enough information, but I know first hand that a man can change, even though people are quick to judge. Do what you know is right. You know him better than any of us. God Bless.

Demand him to go to anger management. Get counsel for your self. If he even comes close to doing it again then its should be over. I personally would leave until he gets help and not go back until he completes a demostic violance course also. Some people get to a boiling point and explode. Some one or something set him off. So he definately needs help.

Prepare to get the heck out of that house, else it will wonly escalate, and then one day it will all stop--when you are statistic that others will then say "if only she had told us sooner".
Life's too short to live in fear, and to deal with crap like that. If he values, respects and loves you, he will never lay a hand on you. You deserve better.
