This is a pretty good list: http://www.womendoctor.com/pdf/preg_meds.pdf
It says Vicks is ok.
Ask your doc about others.

No medication is risk free. Even if your doc tells you it is safe there are possible side effects. I encourage you to do the research and decide if the benefits are worth the risk. Try www.pubmed.com or any other site you know of. Do searches with the name of the med and pregnancy. You should always make an informed decision for you and the baby.

My doctor gave me a list of approved pregnancy meds. You should ask yours, I'm sure he/she has a list.
I did learn that pretty much the entire line of tylenol is safe--extra strength, cold, sinus, PM, etc.
My favorite was the tylenol PM because I can never sleep. Also, TUMS are okay and they became my best friend. You can also take Sudafed--but that always makes me feel like I'm really drugged out.
I'm very restless and agitated a lot so all I really want is a damn valium--but those are not an approved drug.

You need to ask your OB doc about meds. I would think Vicks is OK. Just don't over do it.

Call your doctor's office for a list. Lists on the internet, while useful, are often out of date. Some medications don't play well with others as well.

right for you for no less than attempting! do no longer provide up and do the suited you may. i could first desire to declare do no longer use nicotine patches. they might reason delivery defects. decrease decrease back as much as you may. placed out your cig a million/2 way via. you may the two shop it for later or purely throw it away. decrease decrease back. this is my suited suggestion. do no longer placed your self in a project the place you around people who smoke in case you may help it. it is not continuously achievable however. you're able to do it!! purely bear in mind that the stress of quitting can unquestionably be greater sturdy on the toddler than the smoking itself. i could shoot for no better than 5 cigs an afternoon. Set a purpose to diminish down a definite volume of cigs an afternoon/week till you get the place you like. whether it quite is just one an afternoon or much less! Congrats on the toddler and that i'm hoping I helped!

My doctor will let me take Robitussin DM (it is alcohol free) if I am really sick. Tylenol for pain. I used metholanum which is similar to vicks...it isn't ingested so it should be fine.

Nothing is safe for everyone. This is a question you really have to talk to your doctor about.
