Before spending a lot of money to get a coin graded, find out if it is worth doing. On coins worth a $100 or so may be worth sending to NGC or PCGS. A dealer will have to send the m for you, if you use one of these. An ANA member can also submit to NGC. These two are considered the top 2 in getting the most for the coin at resale time at least for now. ANACS you can send in yourself just go to www.anacs.com for a printable order form. They are number 3 and are cheaper. I like them, for they know a lot about varieties. A lot of graded and slabbed coins for sale in the $10-$40 range are actually less money than it cost to grade them. Check with a couple of coin dealers and ask their opinion. Most coin dealers are OK guys. Check with a couple of them and compare what they say.

depends who you are submitting the coin to, and what coin you have. most companies allow you to simply go on their website and print an order sheet to send with the coin for grading. If it is an error coin, you need to put that on the sheet. However, if you are looking at NGC grading, you can only get coins graded by them through authorized NGC dealers. That makes it a bit tougher to get graded. I have heard a rumor though about NGC grading through Ebay, but i am not sure.
