does it matter what color dawn dishsoap i use to get out a grease smudge?

I have the pink dawn essentials concentrated and i was wondering if this is the right dawn to use before i pour it on my brand new off white tank top

The color of the Dawn should not stain your top, it's water-soluble. If you want to be sure, find an inside seam or hem on your top and put a little drop of Dawn on it. Wait 5 to 10 minutes and rinse it out. You will have your answer as to whether it will stain or not.

For what it's worth, I've used Dawn on many different stains and fabrics without any problems. I would suggest keeping a Tide stain pen or some 'Shout' handy for future problems.

Even though I wouldn't qualify using it on your clothes you can still use it on you clothes without it staining it, just like detergent is colored and does not stain. But you would be better off using the tide pen or some oxy clean.

STOP!! don't do that get some shout!! It gets everything out!! When you pull it out of the washer make sure it's gone. Once you stick it in the dryer, that's it the stain is there forever!!
