I def. recommend buying the Almay Smart Shade foundation. it completely takes the guess work out of shade matching. pick light if u suburn easily, med-light if u burn then tan, or med. if u tan alone. it magically matches up with ur skintone somehow. If u dont wanna use this than try the covergirl truematch stufff. Check out their site to browse their shades and tones. It matches reallllly well. If u wanna know wat eyeshows, blush, etc, to buy then go to Neutrogena.com and do their little survey. im sure the other brands have the surveys too. U can try about.com too. I also recommend a light bronzer to go over the almay foundation. itll give u a glowy fresh natural look.

I suggest going to a local mall to the makeup counter and seeing what they can do for you. They let you test out many different kinds and brands of makeup to see what shades work best for you. If you don't want to go to the mall, type in things in Yahoo search engine like "what eyeshadow works best for green (or whatever color eyes you have) eyes," and you'll get good results. That's how I found out all about eye makeup--quick, easy, good results. There are also many videos online that show how to apply all kinds of makeup: blush, eyeliner, foundation, EVERYTHING. The videos are all at expertvillage.com

Hope I helped!

1] go to a makeup counter at the department store, and get a makeover. Pay attention to colors, and techniques. You don't have to buy anything, but can if you wish.
Tell the sales consultant you will think about it and come back later.
2] buy some lip color, blush, and mascara at the drugstore or WalMart. These will make a big difference, yet look subtle.
3] Do you look better in COOL colors:
white, pink, berry, wine, coral, lemon yellow, mint, jade, or hunter green, baby, royal, or navy blue, lavender, eggplant,
gray, black , and silver jewelry? or -
WARM colors: ivory, peach, orange, rust, golden yellow, lime, kelly, or olive green, aqua, turquoise, teal, bright purple,
caramel, chocolate, and gold jewelry?
Buy colors in 'your' shades. Use different tints for shadow/liner
to accent eyes - anything but your eye color will enhance your eyes.

Buy one thing at a time, try to apply it or enlist the help of a friend. If it doesn't look good for whatever reason, you and she can trade and start the process all over again. Make-up is trial and error but with enough time and trials you will find something that works for you :)

You can try going to a Beauty School and Asking them to do you makeup and to teach you how as they are doing it. By me the Beauty School does makeup for free so just call around. They would probably help you and be really nice and helpful.

i don't think of that is rude to perhaps, get one merchandise out at a time and practice with a small mirror yet, it particularly is rude to drain each little thing out of her handbag and take in a table and an entire different finished seat and then in simple terms pass away each little thing out for something of the holiday. She in all probability replaced into previous due yet, additionally did not decide for each man or woman sitting with the aid of her too and so what extra appropriate excuse while she pretends she's not finished and would not positioned it away.

Walk into a beauty store(sephora) or department stores (JC Penny, Macys, whatever) and ask for a makeover. I love sephora, they give you great advice (for free) though the makeup is kinda expensive.
