if you don't think she'll remember and you have the stuff handy, just pack a box of a few in your suitcase/ purse. Tampons give you the most secure coverage, make sure you get the ones that are meant for teens, unless you are built heavier, than get the normal ones. If you don't feel like trying a tampon then try to find the pads with wings. The "wings" wrap around your underwear and keep it from slipping. And try to remember that your grandmother has had this experience as well as every other woman, so don't stress. In a little while it will be no biggie.

Try Tampax "Compax", they are small and fit in the palm of your hand and are disguised to not look like a tampon, also, take some pads, you dont need to wait for your grandma to pack you an emergency kit, do it yourself, go to Wal-Mart or Target or your local grocery or drug store, they have a HUGE selection and many different feminine products to choose from, also carry your personals in a purse or something. Good Luck! =)

Ask your Mom to get you a pack of sanitary pads to put in your suitcase, just in case. Better to be prepared.
If you do get it, plan to change pads about every 4 hours the first day and the second, then 6-8 hours. Wrap them in toilet tissue before you put them in trash [ pads can't be flushed ].
Sometimes people think 'everyone' can smell that they have their period, but no one else can - the smell sort of 'sticks' in your nose.

well first bring medicine that makes cramps go away. Then bring pads. Big one and small ones. (big ones for during the night and small ones for during the day) Bring lots of pads because you never know how much you will need. Also bring not that many white clothing because if you start you don't want it to soak through nice white pants. Bring dark underwear and lots of underwear. hope this helps.

Go to the drug store and take a trip down the travel-size isle. Pick up a little box of Tampax or pantiliners. Theyre a buck.

Bless your heart honey Every woman in America can sympathize with you just tell your grandmother she wont be mad. But every hotel you might stay in will have emergency pads and tampons so you will be just fine.

most washrooms have dispensers where you put a quarter in and you can get a pad. so if you don't want anyone to see you buying them at a store then you can buy them in the washroom. if you have a friend or sister or something maybe they can borrow you whatever u need.
