If every country adopted this policy it would lead to the extinction of the entire human race.

No, this would lead to wiping out the entire world population, including Americans. Americans do more harm to each other than anyone else does to them. There should be a punishment for inflicting pain or harm to ANYONE anywhere, not just Americans. But this should not be capital punishment, because, as I said, this would end up killing most if not all of the human race. Furthermore, capital punishment is never the right answer. No one has the right to take anyone else's life away, even if that person took another life, they should be punished, but not killed.

By the way, why is this in LGBT section?

It's brilliant, until you end up with an american who asks to be harmed, or fakes it, just to have the other people killed.

So it's just full of holes. I'm all for standing up for your own, but it's too extreme. Maybe you should worry about helping avoid the violence to begin with.

Plus what happens if one person from the USA harms another? What if it's mutual, do you kill both?

Weird.

Two words: Hell no.

If an American slaps another American because he is being a jerk, the first must be killed. Then, the people who kill the first must be killed. This would result in anarchy and chaos.

To put it nicely, you're WRONG.

Only an American would suggest such a thing.

I think that sounds like Ayatollah Khomeini, except that he was a little bit more moderate.

I believe in the death penalty for violent crimes. However it is up to the country in which the crime happened to prosecute criminals. We have a wonderful legal system that allows for us to call ...openly..for extradition of people who we have proof of criminal activities to be brought to America to stand trial in an open court for all the public to see. i believe this is a much better answer than secret prisons and torture which are strictly against the mores and ideals of the democratic process. Anyone who is against the open and honest use of our judicial system is no patriot in my books...and yes, that includes the president.

I think that's the most asinine thing I've read today. Perhaps even for the entire month.
