Pay the bill off that your checks being garnished for.

Once you've paid off the bill your check is being garnished for you won't have the problem any longer. You may try calling who you owe the money to and negotiating a lower amount if you are able to pay it off sooner. Or you can see a attorney if the garnishment is causing severe financial hardship there may be something that can be done.

If you live on SSI or some other benefit like that, there are only two things your check can be garnished for:

Child Support

Student Loans

No other creditor can lawfully take a dime.
If you're being garnished for one of the above, there is absolutely nothing you can do.

nothing it sucks,pay your bill until its paid off you just have less money.in the future make arrangements to pay your bills a small amount on a weekly or monthly basis and keep your word.when you owe money especially medical bills they will come after you and they will win,good luck.
