Because they have been around long enough to know what American women are!!!!
having traveled around the world especially in Europe.. I have realized that women in Europe have strong opinions and make their own decisions just like Us American women but the difference is; The Europe women are elegant, womanly, classy and do not walk around like they have penises too..
Life is teaching me that as much as I enjoy to being treated like a woman and having doors opened for me by men..Men want to be treated like men and feel needed too.
Even though I make my own money almost the same as him, I'm always willing to let my man lead. it's okay I will follow. I want him to know that even though we are financially on the same level, I still depend on him and want him.
I have to be honest....I'm a woman and I will tell my fellow American girls...PLEASE PLEASE have elegance, substance, and class(that does not mean you are a man's slave)....

I agree with a couple of people on this one!
Men get to a certain age and lose hope that they can find an American woman that can/will love them like they want. (And I don't mean subserveant!)
Women in America are TOO independent for most men! The want a relationship where family and love is the centerpiece of their life, not their career. They don't all bring women here to clean house and have sex! Some just want an old-fashioned marriage where men feel like they are needed!

Sun S is absolutely right!
I am of French origin and I have a lot of success with American men because I let them lead and be a man. Don`t get me wrong I am not a doormat on the contrary, you can`t find more assertive and dramatic then a French woman.
Correction: I am not easy to control and I am a business woman so your theory about being more traditional and easy to control doesn't stand up.

With the divorce rate above 50%. Many people have lost faith in marriage. This is understandable. Some people have decided to approach it with input from other societies. Obviously, a man (or woman) can't change who they are, but they can marry a person from a different society.
I can't say I agree or disagree completely, but I have to say, some of the points seem agreeable.
American culture is not condusive to marriage...it's a fact. Why not break out of a broken system and try a different culture. If you want to or like to be married. It's seem logical.

Wow, what an interesting question. Maybe because American women of this generation are so into their careers and liberation and independance.
When a man reachs a certian age maybe he looks for a more traditional relationship. More like his own mom and dad might have had.

Maybe because by the time they turn 35 they have given up all hope of finding a nice American woman, but yet they haven't given up hope on find a nice women.

Maybe its a control thing. from what I understand , foreign women are easily controlled and will wait on you hand and foot just to stay in this beutiful country. American women are strong headed and some men just dont like confrontations!

Because all of the American women are spoiled and don't care about pleasing their men any longer. the foreign women know how to take care of their men every night.

Because; The following is what my son, who is in the US Navy told me right after he started dating girls in Japan!
He wouldn't have an American girl because; the ones who shouldn't be snobs, are; and the girls who should be snobs, aren't;
The American girls who think they are beautiful, are not;
and the ones who think they are not pretty or beautiful, are.
He married a girls who is Japanese/Brazilian. She is sweet, beautiful, and very, very smart.
