Buying a new laptop so me and the wife can play warcraft at the same time. Does this sound like a good setup?

HP Pavilion dv6000t CTO NB
Genuine Windows Vista Home Basic (32-bit)
Intel(R) Pentium(R) dual core T2080(1.73GHz/1MB)
15.4" WXGA BrightView Widescreen (1280x800)
2GB (2 Dimm) Ram
256MB NVIDIA(R) GeForce(R) Go 7400
Intel(R) PRO/Wireless 3945ABG Network Connection
160 gig harddrive

I will be connecting wirelessly to a linksys wireless-g wrt54g broadband routed and sharing the internet connection between to computers playing warcraft at the same time.

The internet speed acording to http://www.dslreports.com/speedtests/ before being split is 1530kbps down and 418kbps up.

Will warcraft work good on two comps on one internet connection with this notebook?

yes you can run WoW on that notebook..and I've been on a DSL network (1.5/256) with two machines running wow at the same time..so you should be okay..

yea the 128 mb is way too slow but the 1 gb graphics should be plenty. You'll find it runs slower (display, details) because it is not a dedicated card if your desktop was. You should be able to run best graphics too in WoW, but again it'll be slower than a desktop, even with that configuration. If that isn't a concern then it should work fine. Let me know which server you'll be on because with just a 15 inch screen, your character will be easily blindsided in PVP :)

Yes, WoW runs on machines much less powerful that that- and sharing computers over the wireless connection is no problem.

But for the record, Vanguard Saga of Heroes is a better game- MUCH more interesting content :)

Yes. Vanguard is a buggy, laggy, mess. Do not buy it.
