Many of us heard of the Che "legend(s)" and then there was the "Motorcycle Diaries" book and film. You realised that he was just a humble young man, growing up to become an immense character. Not a hero. Just a man full of ideal who accomplished extraordinary things. And one of the greatest characters of the 20th Century. With the help of serious and constant disinformation, many today still want to make him a criminal but he was only fighting against poverty and oppression. And despite his dogmatic approach at times, he did try. He lived and as a result, he died for his revolt against oppression. That was his only crime.

PS: along the same line. A white man from South Africa once told me that Nelson Mandela was a terrorist. What to expect?....

Thank you for your question

Guevara was Castro's hit man & personally executed many Ex soldiers & land owners for Castro. Basically he was a murdering thug that leftists built into a revolutionary hero. I celebrated the day they killed that thug.

Nice question Baby. Yes, i am a fan. I read his diaries and found him a funny insightful human, who was so full of disgust at the injustice of human life, he felt compelled to do something about it. However let's not forget:
1) He was a man of his time, and the conditions created the man in an age of ideology
2) His image, reminiscent of post renaissance images of Christ, now has iconic status and that seals his heroic status. If he looked like a minger he would have fewer worshipers, i am sure.

No.
No.
A lot.
He has been romanticized as some sort of "peoples' hero" fighting the nasty upper classes. Really RESEARCH him and you'll see he simply clouded his own egotistical, maniacal hedonism in "good works." B.S.

He was cool in one way: - Because he was a Stalinist he would probably have shot all the jerks Liberals and Trots who wander around in 'Che' T-shirts.

The only things he did wrong was miscalculating the chances for revolution in Congo-Kinshasha and Bolivia.
